Frankfurt School of Finance & Management
The Frankfurt School of Finance & Management is a private, state-recognized business school. Its sponsor is the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management gemeinnützige GmbH. The Adickesallee campus with its central location in Frankfurt's Nordend is part of the "Campus Mile", which connects Frankfurt's scientific universities and libraries. The campus was built according to the designs of the Danish firm Hennig Larsen Architects and is an architectural beacon for the city. A special characteristic of the campus is the Zeil des Wissens. This canyon-like space between the towers is the central meeting point. All the main uses, such as the Audimax, Learning Centre, restaurant, deli, student and alumni relations as well as the seminar and learning rooms are connected to the Zeil. Students come from almost 100 countries and from all continents. This internationality is also reflected in the campus. Each of the five towers of the building represents one of the five continents: America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. A design was created that represents the continents and adorns some of the tower's wall surfaces, a leitmotif that was also reflected in the guidance system design. The complex guidance system realized by meng integrates harmoniously into the open architecture. The international claim of the Frankfurt School and its worldwide networking is also expressed by the campus garden, which is designed in five landscape pictures. Here the five continents are picked up by their characteristic vegetation. Pines and oaks stand for Europe, the Tokyo cherry for Asia and the eucalyptus for Australia.
